summer black forest moist and i scream for ice cream

ok, here's what happens when those ice creams are made as an embellishment to the pins i make ;D.
'never expected the velour cloth and other embellishments would contribute to help turn out like an almost real black forest moist cake. sometimes i'm thinking: 'to sell or not to sell".
it can be as good as framing it--making it a two-dimensional art form,---fitting for  a nook in the dinning area, of a home, cafes, or coffee shop.

have a lovely black forest weekend and top it with ice cream! sinfully summer ;(
and hey---the summer is well nigh--on this part of the globe ;D

helllooo summer!

i still have so many shells collected and gathered from last summer's vacay. i have used lots of them already on my works and sold them. however i stumbled on these neatly packed and carefully edited and polished(at a local shop as i do the rounds of 'inspiration' stroll), i-do-not-have-these-type-of-shellies yet-- shelliess to which is: exactly are how the selling point -- affected me; tho' my old gathered and rough shells are still sitting and and gathering dusts  somewhere in the mounds of my hoards ;(

here are my 'new raw material treasures' ;D while examining them one by one and my head is reeling with with design ideas. above is a washi tape cut from the japs and i am intending it to emebllish further my hand-stamped labels for the art pins i make and sell. on the right are: tofu and sour tomato chili dip and the less acid coffee drink--according to the label.

and now... here's how the pretty shellies 'been used to embellished these new--'summaah and beach' inspired art pins.

hello summer beaches! ;D

New! B N W

Colour Theory: The Presence and absence of Light.
B N W is also black and white.

Blessed New Year! ;D 'been so busy lately and have been neglectful in updating. Nonetheless--im back! ;D with these new 'fresh-ies' of black and whites of what i call 'art pins'; its one of the reasons why i'm busy and engrossed with most of the time, to the point i have not done the hated laundry for weeks and weeks now-haha--for i find these doings far more enthralling ;D to begin with
 enjoy!
and oh--- since i am so fond of brooches and pins way back in high school, i have here
listed and it's on-going, progressively-- 'some ideas and practical uses' of these pretty collectibles

another "i hate bulks" hand-made purse----laaaaavvv eeettt!

i am having difficulty upon deciding whether to put this on etsy or not. this is one, labour of love, also an artform, has been shelved for oh so many months, because i am looking for the perfect element that i can infuse for the closure on the cards and fold bills section. and then the other day--bingo! i found it. a small belt with antique finish buckle minus the hole, its ok--still serves it purpose perfectly because the fabric--a mixture of cotton and mostly synthetic i think, never glides and slides, it stays permanently where you want it.
materials. its from a leather skirt. made in italy. so u know what we're having here. its waistline --22 inches! i conclude its vintage. are you kidding?in this world of cokes, custards, pringles, saturated fats, trans fat, yeah right(as if i know it at all)--where can you ever find that woman with such waistline. oh well maybe in--siberia? alaska. a woman hostaged and is never given food. bulimic, anorexic.
anyhooo--i am going to recreate it...

i have taken out the pocket--the leather is soooo smooth and durable--labour of love it is--because i keep pricking my hands till it swelled and bled while i sew and piece together the portion at the back for money-fold bills and credit cards, and attached it on the original pocket--now turned into coin purse section, althroughout. man, the zipper is an industrial type one--glides smooth.. .
all hand stitches that i did here, are sewn twice over. compartments are all lined. satin quilted cloth and appliqued with brown lace.the colours--divine.subdued.ha. whatelse, and if i change my mind, it will be for sale on etsy
